Hildor’s passage Published on: 2009-04-10

Here we have yet another earth-type map, although Hildor’s Passage has a charming little river running through it, which breaks up the terrain. The combination of disgusting fumes from the swamp and clouds of sulfur, heated up to make it all the more pungent, makes for some wild and emotional fighting in this arena. This isn’t going to draw crowds of tourists to the Hormonde, but maybe that’s just how the hour demons want it!
Nestled between filthy swamps and Brakmarian rock, Hildor’s passage, is no place to take the family…

Omak’s Gangways Published on: 2009-04-10

Omak’s Gangways is a water-type arena, but in reality, all the water has frozen to ice. The temperature here is not as low as in many other arenas, but we still wouldn’t advise taking a swim in one of the crystallized water baths… you’ll probably end up as a piece of ice in an hour demon’s summer cocktail!

The Bridge on the River Aie Published on: 2009-03-23

When he was young, there was only one thing Gni wanted to do when he grew up… nothing! That might seem normal for a Sadida, but he really went too far. He refused to learn to speak or read. The only sound he would make was ‘Gniii’. When he was old enough to start working, he decided his job would be to guard a bridge, just in case anyone got a notion to steal it.

Since he slept on it, blocking the passage, no one ever came to borrow it. An Enutrof would have rented it out for money, but not Gni. He just slept on it. One day, a Iop riding a Dragoturkey accidentally trampled all over his body. Poor Gni died from his injuries and his last word was his second… “Aie”, although some say that that isn’t even a word. In memory of the heroic inactions of guardian Gni, the bridge has carried his name ever since.

Glaglawi’s Passage Published on: 2009-03-23

Many say that Absolus Zerus is the arena where you’ll find the lowest temperature in the whole of Hormonde. Not everyone agrees, though, and some argue that this place, Glaglawi’s Passage, holds the record. The proof? Just look at Olgi the legendary Iop who’s been trapped in the ice for many decades past.

Asse Star Published on: 2009-03-11

At glance, this small arena may look dangerous: lines of sight are clear, warriors are within reach of a Cra’s arrow from the very first turn, and the layout of the cells forces big teams (more than 4 players) to split up. But keep your cool!

Painful Backyard Published on: 2009-03-11

Not only do Demons take adventurers away from their world and families, but they also like to see their team divided in arenas. The Painful Backyard is one of the best examples of a map where your team will not be able to move as one unit.

Midnight Soil Published on: 2009-02-23

Only Magus Ax knew about the Demons’ strange little habit which was to redecorate every new territory they conquered! And Midnight was no exception! And if need be, here’s the proof she’s been there: an evil statue in the arena bears her name. Regarding the skull cell, some of you may wonder why it’s there… Sensitive souls, beware!

Absolus Zerus Published on: 2009-02-23

Did this piece of land break away from Kwismas Island or Frigost, the ice continent? No one knows and no one cares. But since this arena became part of the Hormonde, many warriors have been frozen out. Some even say that Dodge the Ecaflip is cryogenically preserved somewhere under all this thick ice. Is it another stupidus legendus? Go and see for yourself at Absolus Zerus!

Burgh of Bonta Published on: 2009-02-09

Bonta the Magnificent has always been the rival of Brakmar the Malignant.

And, as far back as the world can remember, the Bontarians have fought against the intrusion of demons into the World of 12. Stealing a piece of the city was a real challenge for the Hour Demons.
